Learn how to move your board from the reporting and activity mode of operation to a results-based approach that is informed and inspired by purpose. We’ll explore the characteristics and practices of a results-based board in relationship to the organization, and the board’s own effectiveness. We’ll also discuss a case study to look at how a board’s culture and practices can be shifted, in partnership with staff leadership. As always, this will be an interactive session. This workshop is most appropriate organizations with established boards, though all organizations are welcome and will find the session beneficial.
Special guest: Sheila Schroeder, Board Chair, San Francisco Waldorf School (www.sfwaldorf.org); Director of Client Development, Mosaic Financial Partners, Inc. (www.mosaicfp.com). Free; registration not yet open.
